Parade Tour Stockholm 1986

By Housequake

Presenting some ‘never seen before’ photos

A long time ago I acquired a bunch of original black and white negatives. After some thorough investigation one of the strips appeared to be photos from Prince & The Revolution Parade Tour show on August 22, 1986 in Stockholm. Prince maybe at his peak performance wise. These are stunning, so I wanted to share these with you all.

Taken in the front-row, this flawless photo sequence shows Prince portraying the lyrics of 1999 with his hands. (2000 zero zero party over oops out of time)

Credits

We always like to credit the photographer, but after some serious research, I have never found out who actually took these photos. So until then, credit us. Jurek Holzer & Mats Bäcker were perhaps the usual suspects to have taken these, but it wasn’t them. If you know, feel free to comment!

About the author

Housequake

Hi, my name is Aaron. In the daytime a User Experience Designer and 24/7 Prince fan since 1984. I registered & created Housequake.com on June 7, 1997, because at the time there was little else to read and discuss on Prince, except perhaps on alt.music.prince. I started a forum, people gathered and I think the rest is history.
